Go to any local of high street optician for an eye test. It is vital that you collect your prescription. Some retailers will force you to buy glasses from them and may not hand you your prescription. Remember it is your legal right to have this prescription and to buy your glasses from anywhere that you choose. Don’t forget to get your Pupilliary Distance (PD) number as well. This should be included in your prescription. If not, ASK FOR IT.

Bifocal lenses should only be chosen if the are recommended by your optician. Bifocals are an option for people who require two sets of lenses in one pair of glasses. These are normally used for reading and distance.
Choose whether you want special coatings or not. We would recommend an anti scratch coating.
